Paul Romer likes One Billion Americans

Paul Romer won the 2018 Nobel Prize in Economics for his work on the roots of economic growth, work that is one of my big inspirations for thinking about the world. So I was extremely flattered that he agreed to read the book and enjoyed it:

One Billion Americans points to the practical changes that the United States can make to earn back its inherited position as the leader on the path toward universal freedom and dignity. It warns us all that being the envy of the world is a choice, not a fate.
